THE COVENANT
Directed by Renny Harlin, The Covenant, is more of a thriller movie. It stars Steven Strait, Toby Hemingway, Sebastian Stan and Chace Crawford and revolves around four students studying at the Spenser Academy. It tells a story of these students whose ancestors are sacred from the Ipswich Colony in Massachusetts. As they are descendants from the original families settled there, all of them have special powers since birth. The movie takes a violent turn after a student's dead body is discovered after a party. The rest you will have to watch a movie and find out for yourself. It's worth a watch.
HOLLYWOODLAND
This movie stars actors like Adrien Brody, Diane Lane, Robin Tunney, Ben Affleck and Bob Hoskins and is a suspense-thriller. This movie revolves around a detective played by Adrien Brody, who is investigating the mysterious death of George Reeves played by Ben Affleck. While the investigation, the detective learns about the dead man's affair with a studio executive's wife and uncovers some unexpected connections with his own life.
INVINCIBLE
This movie can be categorised as a sports, drama flick starring Mark Wahlberg, Greg Kinnear, Elizabeth Banks and Kevin Conway to name a few. This movie is based on a true 'local guy makes good' story and is an entertaining feel-good flick. It is about a Philadelphia Eagles fan who has just lost his teaching job and also his wife. He shows up for a tryout and makes it to his favourite team. It's worth a watch.

This is a Thai movie starring Tony Jaa, Petchtai Wongkamlao, Bongkoj Khongmalai, and Xing Jing among many. It is based on a young fighter named Kham, played by Tony Jaa, who must go to Australia to get his stolen elephant back. This is a purely action movie and shows us how with the help of a Thai-born Australian detective helps Kham as they must face major obstacles on the way.
CRANK
Directed by Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine, this movie can come under the action/thriller category. This movie has Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Efren Ramirez and Jose Pablo Cantillo as its leading star-cast. The plot revolves around a dangerous hit-man, played by Jason Statham, who has been injected with some kind of poison. This poison is fatal and can kill him if his heart rate drops too much. He wants to take revenge from the people who have done this to him before he dies. A fast-paced action movie, definitely worth watching once.
